Company Settings
Company Settings allows administrators to configure system-wide options that affect how LMI behaves across your organization. These settings control visual appearance, workflow integrations, and operational preferences.
Overview
Company Settings includes configuration for:
- Chart Color Palette - Customize colors used in charts and visualizations
- CRM Settings - Configure workflows for leads and opportunities
Accessing Company Settings
Navigate to Settings → Administration → Company Settings from the sidebar.

Settings List
The Company Settings page displays available configuration options in a table format.

Chart Color Palette
The Chart Color Palette setting controls the colors used throughout LMI’s charts, graphs, and data visualizations.

Pre-built Palettes
LMI includes six pre-built color palettes:

| Default (Earth Tones) | Natural, muted colors suitable for professional reports |
| Vibrant | Bright, saturated colors for high-contrast visualizations |
| Ocean Blues | Cool blue tones for a calm, professional look |
| Sunset | Warm orange and red tones |
| Forest Greens | Green-focused palette for environmental themes |
| Monochrome | Grayscale palette for print-friendly reports |
Selecting a Palette
- Click on Chart Color Palette in the settings list
- Browse the available palettes in the selection panel
- Click on a palette to preview it
- The selected palette is automatically saved

Custom Palettes
Create your own color palettes to match your company branding.

Creating a Custom Palette
- Click the Add Custom Palette button
- Enter a name for your palette
- Configure each of the 11 color slots using the color picker
- Click Save to create the palette
Editing a Custom Palette
- Click the Edit button next to your custom palette
- Modify the name or colors as needed
- Click Save to apply changes
Deleting a Custom Palette
- Click the Delete button next to your custom palette
- Confirm the deletion
Color Configuration
Each palette contains 11 colors that map to chart data series:

| Color 1 | Primary data series, first pie slice |
| Color 2 | Secondary data series, second pie slice |
| Color 3-11 | Additional data series as needed |
Colors are displayed in order for multi-series charts and cyclically for charts with more than 11 data points.
CRM Settings
CRM Settings configures how leads and opportunities flow through your sales process by linking them to task workflows.

Lead Workflow Configuration
Configure the workflow used to track lead progression.

Opportunity Workflow Configuration
Configure the workflow used to track opportunity progression.

Configuring CRM Settings
- Click on CRM Settings in the settings list
- Select a workflow from the Lead Workflow dropdown
- Only workflows with CRM-related names (containing “sales”, “crm”, “lead”, or “opportunity”) are shown
- Select the Lead Team to assign new leads to
- Choose the Converted Status from the selected workflow’s statuses
- Repeat for opportunity configuration
- Click Save to apply changes

How CRM Settings Affect the Application

Settings Storage
Company settings are stored in the company metadata and apply to all users within your organization. Changes are applied immediately and do not require a page refresh.

Chart Palette Selection
- Choose palettes with sufficient contrast between adjacent colors for accessibility
- Use the monochrome palette when creating charts for black-and-white printing
- Create custom palettes that align with your company’s brand guidelines
- Test palettes with actual chart data to ensure readability
CRM Workflow Configuration
- Set up dedicated workflows for leads and opportunities with clear, sequential statuses
- Ensure the “Converted Status” represents a terminal state in the lead workflow
- Configure the “Initial Status” as the first step in your opportunity sales process
- Assign teams that have members available to work new leads and opportunities
Organizational Coordination
- Coordinate company settings changes with stakeholders before applying
- Document custom palette colors for brand consistency
- Train users on workflow changes before updating CRM settings
- Review settings periodically to ensure they align with current business processes
Troubleshooting
Charts not showing updated colors
- Clear your browser cache and refresh the page
- Verify the palette was saved successfully (check for confirmation toast)
- Ensure you’re viewing a chart that uses the chart color system
CRM workflow dropdown is empty
- Verify that workflows exist in the system (see Workflows)
- Check that workflow names contain CRM-related keywords (“sales”, “crm”, “lead”, or “opportunity”)
- Ensure you have permission to view workflows
Status dropdown is disabled
- Select a workflow first—status options depend on the selected workflow
- Verify the selected workflow has statuses configured
Changes not applying for other users
- Company settings changes apply immediately but may require other users to refresh their browser
- Verify the save operation completed successfully
- Check that all users are logged into the same company account
Cannot access Company Settings
- Verify you have administrator permissions
- Check that you have the appropriate security group role assigned
- Contact your system administrator for access
Custom palette not saving
- Ensure all 11 color slots have valid colors selected
- Verify the palette name is not empty
- Check for any validation error messages in the form
